A Little About Me
Hola! My name is Christy Lema, and I am happy to be here. Some may say I am a tough nut to crack, but I promise I can be soft and fluffy on the inside. To prove it, here are a few fun facts about me!
- I love Jesus Christ, and I am so thankful for his grace and salvific work in my life.
- We are not perfect, but I love my crazy Cuban familia. I am the reigning queen of making tostones (aka la tostonera).
- Music has a special place in my heart. So much so that I feel the Lord has called me to serve and lead others in worship through music.
- Loving Jesus + Loving Music = My humble pursuit of a Doctorate of Musical Arts (Year 2, but who is counting...)
- Take me on a car ride with the windows down on the way to coffee or ice cream, and we will be besties.
- I can be both a hymn nerd and a Broadway nerd. In the words of Waitress, "She's imperfect, but she tries" is my life motto.
- I am a classic millenial that loves a cute boho vibe and lighting scented candles.
- Any more fun facts, and you'll have to ask me out for coffee. 😉
